Posted by : Books Mantra Publications: Children’s Book Hybrid and Self-Publishing in India
Books Mantra Publications is a hybrid publisher and self-publishing platform for children’s books, based in Chennai, India. It is the children’s book brand of Clever Fox Publishing Private Limited, and it helps authors turn story ideas into professionally illustrated, printed and distributed books.
What Books Mantra does
- Children’s book publishing: storyline editing, character design and illustration, cover and interior design, ISBN, printing and distribution.
- Children’s book marketing: Amazon and Flipkart advertising, social media reels and ads, book reviews, influencer marketing and school and apartment book fairs.
Every plan includes an ISBN, and authors keep 100% of the profit from their books. Plans start at ₹2,499; see all nine on the self-publishing packages page.
Hybrid publisher or self-publishing platform?
Both. Authors who want to do more themselves choose a DIY self-publishing plan. Authors who want a team to handle everything choose a full-service hybrid plan, with illustration, printing, distribution and marketing included. Either way, the author keeps their rights.
